Born and raised amidst the enveloping atmospheres of Sicily, I lived following the rooted traditions of Southern Italy, as if wearing blinders that limited my vision to what others saw, without asking too many questions.
In 2017, I decided to embark on a new phase of my life and moved to the picturesque Dresden in Germany. This city, steeped in history, became the stage where the people I encountered kindly removed those blinders I used to wear.
Through the lens of my camera, I find my voice. My photographs become the medium through which I express my doubts, my discoveries, and celebrate the power of my subjects. I reveal their strength, sometimes stripped of the clothes they wear, as for me, nudity signifies the essence of independence.
My hope is that every observer finds in my images a personal connection, a reflection of their own experiences, and an invitation to explore the world with open eyes. Photography, for me, is an endless journey, and each shot is a step forward in this extraordinary visual adventure.
